About

On Friday, 18th September 2026, something special happened at the No Human Is Useless Annual Conference 2026.
Under the theme “The Pain Hiding Behind Our Smiles,” people came together not just to attend an event, but to be heard, to listen, to heal, and to find hope again.

There were moments when the room became deeply emotional as people shared stories they had carried for years.

We heard from George Best, Fafa, Peter Etornam Nartey Kophi, Samuel Danso Aurthur, the father of Kwesi Arthur, @Clement Asamoah of Gossip 24, ADP Beatrice from the Akuse Female Prison, and others who opened up about pain, disability, poverty, loss, cancer, unemployment, life behind the cameras, difficult systems, and the struggles people often hide behind a smile. And then there was hope.

People poured out their hearts. People listened without judgement. Some cried. Some laughed. Some saw their own story in someone else’s story. And for many, I believe they left with a little more hope than they came with. We were also honoured to have friends from the Danish Embassy, the Embassy of Peru and the Australian High Commission join us and stand with us for this important conversation. There was music. There was healing. There were tears. There was joy. But above everything, there was humanity.

This is why No Human Is Useless exists. To remind people that whatever they are going through, they are not alone, and their story is not over.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported us during the planning, everyone who attended, our speakers, sponsors, partners, volunteers, the entire No Human Is Useless team, and every single person who helped make yesterday possible. You believed in the message.
